If we wish to improve schools we need to improve school cultures so that they support student learning, according to Franklin Schargel, a former educator with extensive experience consulting in the areas of school leadership, creating positive school cultures and establishing high performing classrooms. Franklin joins us this month to share his insights from research he has conducted with the successful leaders of high performing, high minority, highly successful schools (the so-called “90-90-90 schools”) to learn more about how to create a positive learning environment so that all students can and will learn.
