Linda Darling-Hammond, one of this country’s foremost authorities on education practice, joins us this month for our main interview. Dr. Hammond is Professor of Education at the Stanford University Graduate School of Education, and the author or editor of more than a dozen influential books and more than 300 articles on education policy and practice, including her most recent work, Getting Teacher Evaluation Right: What Really Matters for Effectiveness and Improvement.

For this interview, we reached out to notable leaders in the education field and asked them to pose their own questions to Professor Darling-Hammond on the topic of teacher evaluation and professional development. Linda Darling-Hammond is the Charles E. Ducommun Professor of Education at the Stanford Graduate School of Education, where she launched the School Redesign Network, the Stanford Educational Leadership Institute, and the Stanford Center for Opportunity Policy in Education. Her books include The Flat World and Education, which won the 2012 Grawemeyer Award in Education.
